George Clooney’s Best Beauty Tips at 64

George Clooney has been the definition of a household name since the first time he appeared on our screens, and the Ocean’s 11 actor is not slowing down anytime soon. Just weeks ago, Clooney opened a new Broadway show—Good Luck, and Good Night—and today is the stage and screen actor’s 64th birthday. Talk about a second act! Notoriously a sight for sore eyes, we rounded up some of the best beauty and grooming advice we’ve learned from our favorite silver fox over the years to celebrate his new year.

George Clooney’s Skin-Care Routine—the Products He Shares With Amal

While Clooney has been a resident heart throb throughout his career, his wife and long-time human rights lawyer, philanthropist and activist Amal Clooney is equally as known for her show-stopping beauty. So, it’s no surprise George takes his best skin-care advice from his boo. We don’t often get insight into the products and treatments Clooney is loving, but thanks to British beauty mogul Charlotte Tilbury, we know at least one of his go-to skin-care products: The Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream ($65).

“George Clooney loves it just as much as Amal Clooney [does],” Tilbury told Page Six. One of Amal’s favorite products, the activist even wore the product on her and George’s wedding day (and we wouldn’t be surprised if George indulged in some, too.)

Keep It Natural—Owning Your Gray Is In

For years, Clooney has been one of the industry’s most notable silver foxes, but his latest role in Good Luck, and Good Night called for a rather drastic hair change that had fans—and Clooney himself—feeling conflicted. Shedding his facial hair and transforming his strands from salt-and-pepper to a deep brunette, Clooney is almost unrecognizable as he takes the Broadway stage. Despite his age-reversing transformation, Clooney is ever an advocate for keeping things natural.

Coming off his Broadway debut, Clooney took to one of New York’s iconic dining establishments, Sardi’s, where he was forever immortalized amongst the ranks of the Broadway elite with the custom caricatures the Italian restaurant is known for. Even though Clooney is brunette right now, the likeness was drawn to depict his classic gray hair, which had the actor revealing his love for his natural look. “I like the hair color. It’s much better than my hair color right now,” Clooney responded on seeing his portrait. “That’s better. It’s gray, mostly gray. There we are, thank you so much,” the actor joked, solidifying his less-is-more, au natural approach to beauty.
