Lauren Graham’s Beauty Routine Includes Le Prunier’s Plum Oil
I’m 30 and married (which makes me an adult adult in many ways!), but I’d be remiss not to say that sometimes I get very nostalgic for my younger years. Don’t get me wrong: I love my life, and I’m so lucky for all that I have, but nothing beats going home to your mom and talking about all-things life—or if you can’t go home, a long FaceTime call will do the trick, too.
Most recently, my mama and I were talking about our skincare; I’ve been dealing with dry skin, which usually happens this time of year, and as per usual, she had the answer: “What about our favorite Le Prunier plum oil,” she said. I had put it aside for a while while testing other skincare, but the second she said it, I whipped it out and put it on my dry, irritated forehead and cheeks. Immediate relief ensued. “Oh, by the way mom, did you see Lauren Graham is also a fan of our go-to beauty oil?” I told her. For context, my mom and I used to watch Gilmore Girls together religiously when I was younger, so Lorelai holds a special place in our hearts.
Le Prunier Plum Beauty Oil
Graham is the latest celebrity to call out Le Prunier’s Plum Beauty Oil as part of her beauty routine. A simple, “I love all oils; Le Prunier’s smells great,” is all the actress had to say to likely send an army of fans to scoop up this skincare essential. If you remember, Chrissy Teigen waxed poetic about the Le Prunier oil back in 2020; “When I tell you I woke up and my skin was plump and supple, and even…,” she said in her Instagram Stories. In a few hours, it was sold out—and this would be the case for a year.
But, it’s been back for a while, with the brand expanding to include a Plumscreen and a Plumbody cream, both of which are skincare essentials, too. However, this story is, once again, about the beauty oil, so let’s get to it. As Graham said so simply, the Le Prunier oil smells amazing. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg—or, well, the top of the must-love list.
Smell aside, the ingredients (or rather, the single ingredient) make this a standout product unlike anything you’ve probably tried. I’m talking about the brand’s game-changing plum oil, which is packed with essential antioxidants like vitamins A and E and omega fatty acids 6 and 9; the former two work to heal and hydrate skin, while the omega fatty acids protect against environmental stressors and seal in moisture.
Post use, my skin feels so much more hydrated, with irritated spots fading overnight. My mom, who is very picky about her skincare, also notes this has helped calm her rosacea. And if my mom, Graham, Teigen, and I haven’t convinced you yet, take a look at the plethora of positive reviews, with shoppers calling it “the most amazing face oil,” and their “favorite beauty product.”
My mom and I are never without at least an extra bottle one hand, though a little goes a long way. Shop the $72 oil, plus more of Le Prunier’s must-have essentials, below.
