Posh Medical Spa brings beauty and wellness to Owensboro

Posh Medical Spa officially opened its doors in Owensboro on Dec. 12, 2024, bringing a focus on beautification and anti-aging services to the community.

Owner Carolyn Niehaus, a lifelong Owensboro resident and nurse with 36 years of experience, said the spa is dedicated to helping clients feel their best in a comfortable, caring environment.

“I opened the medical spa to focus on beautification and anti-aging for my clients,” Niehaus said. “We want our clients to feel comfortable in a friendly and caring environment.”

The spa specializes in Botox and chemical peels, and it also offers a weight loss clinic centered around GLP-1 injections combined with counseling for safe and effective weight management.

“We are still in the early stages, but our business is growing daily,” Niehaus said. “We’ve been offering specials and have enjoyed getting to know new clients in the community.”

Posh Medical Spa shares its space with Babyface Esthetics and Studio 809, creating a joint family-owned business. Studio 809, a hair salon owned by Bowlds’ daughter, has been in business for over four years. Babyface Esthetics also brings more than four years of experience in providing skincare, lash services, and more.

“Our joint venture with Posh Medical Spa, Babyface Esthetics, and Studio 809 is focused on providing experienced services in a caring manner with excellent results,” she said.

The spa has already become an active part of the community, joining the Chamber of Commerce and connecting with new clients and local residents.

“We are a locally-owned business and are focused on providing expert, caring services based on what is desired by the client,” Niehaus said. “I have lived in Owensboro all of my life and very much enjoy helping people in our community.”
